Leotards and tights are required for ALL BALLET, TAP and JAZZ classes. Legwarmers and dance sweaters are permitted.
Pre-School or young ballet dancers should make sure they are purchasing actual leather or canvas ballet shoes and not cloth bedroom slippers that resemble ballet shoes.
Hair must be pulled up and secured back in a bun for ballet and a ponytail for all other dance classes.
Dress Code
A dress code ensures that dancers are more engaged and clothing is not a distraction during class. Proper dance attire enables the teacher to see the dancer’s position or alignment in order to give necessary corrections to the dancer. A dress code also helps an excited group of younger dancers understand that they are going into a structured class instead of unstructured “playtime”.
Wearing appropriate dance attire, securing hair in a neat bun for ballet or ponytail for other classes, having the correct shoes, etc., teaches students accountability, responsibility, and to come to class ready to work hard. It is more than just an outfit, it’s class etiquette.
Dress code enforcement creates improved work ethic, focus, and overall attitude.

Pink tights, black leotard, pink leather or canvas ballet shoes. Ballet skirts are permitted. Please do not send your child in a full tutu for ballet class. Ballet 8 and above are permitted to wear a solid color leotards.

Tan tights, black leotard, tan jazz shoes. Dance shorts are permitted. Jazz Company students are permitted to wear a solid color leotard.

Out of respect for your instructor and for the courtesy of the other students, cell phones are not to be used while in class. Phones must be turned off or silenced and stored inside a purse or dance bag until you leave.
Cell phones may be used at the end of class to record class combinations or for teaching reasons.
PAC is NOT RESPONSIBLE for lost or stolen items.
